NOVEMBER 2017

Our gratitude list

For those of us in the States, Thanksgiving is next week. It’s a time to pause and reflect on the past year and express our gratitude. Here at ASI, we’ve so much to be thankful for:

Our clients
We truly feel that our clients are some of the most innovative business leaders in the industry. We appreciate your loyalty and your trust in our ability to grow your business. Thank you for letting us be part of your journey to success!

Our team
The Andrew Software, Inc. team is exceptional. Their dedication to our clients and to our company is unmatched in the industry. I thank each talented team member for all you do every day to meet and exceed expectations.

Our technology
Advances in technology enable us to expand accessibility, enhance production, and generally improve the efficiency of ASI software solutions. In 2017, we’ve applied technology most notably to ASI Mobile, providing secure mobile access from Android smartphones, with IoS-enabled access coming in 2018.

Our processes
I’m thankful that we’re delivering on our 2017 plan to improve client service by improving our communication tools and access. Two initiatives, the Customer Support Portal and the newly launched ASI website, are the result. The Portal is now the central hub for all support and help documentation. It makes it easy for clients to access all support documents, log support tickets and much more from one area. It is easily found on the ASI website, which is now mobile-friendly and houses key information for prospective and current clients.

Coffee, chips & chocolate
The three “Cs” that fuel our team.

Need I say more? These are a few reasons we’re thankful here at ASI in 2017. On behalf of the entire ASI team, we thank you for your partnership, loyalty and business. We will continue to work hand-in-hand to grow your business.

For your service & sacrifice,
THANK YOU

This past Saturday in the US and in Canada we honored our veterans with Veterans Day and Remembrance Day, respectively. To all military, past and present, we  are grateful for your service and your sacrifice.

Giving back on Giving Tuesday

Recent disasters and tragedies have shone a harsh light on how fragile life as we know it truly is. Thanksgiving reminds us to cherish what we have and help those around us who are less fortunate.

Giving Tuesday, celebrated on November 28th, is a global day of giving that makes it easy to spread the love this Thanksgiving. One of the best ways to get involved is in your own community. The Giving Tuesday website provides a directory to help you find organizations, charities, events and more in your own community. Click the button below to find opportunities to give near you.

Tech Tip: VCK-SQL Excel files not importing?

Are you having issues uploading your Excel spreadsheets using VCK-SQL Data Entry Importer? It may have to do with a Microsoft Windows Office update.

Microsoft recently released a few buggy updates/patches with one for Microsoft Office (including Excel) impacting VCK-SQL Data Entry Importer. Specifically, if saving spreadsheets to an old Excel format (.xls), you’ll receive an error. The work-around until Microsoft releases a patch to fix the patch is to save your VCK-SQL Data Entry spreadsheets to Excel 2007 and later formats (*.xlsx).
