More Enhancements for Veri-Shred

ASI continues to aggressively expand it’s Veri-Shred package to maintain it’s lead in the industry as the premiere shredding package.  The next release, slated for September 2006, will again include significant enhancements to the existing functionality.  More management and inventory reports have been added, allowing users to show either customer, address, or stop level inventory data, the search criteria interface now allows users to better define the type of information displayed; date ranges, grouping choices, change sequencing, define the level of detail, filter by status, action or capacity.

Significant improvements have been made to the customer set up interface.  New custmers can be setup completely within Veri-Shred eliminating all non-shredding and data related functions.  This will reduce the time it takes to set up new customers and eliminate the use of VCK for this purpose.

Improved scanner functionality has been added to help accommodate variances in ‘scheduled’ versus ‘non scheduled’ activity.  You can capture weight values at the bin level, but also collectively.  Or, if you’d prefer, scan your default ‘transient’ barcode and simply enter an amount. This has many uses including sack pick ups, boxes, hardware items, pretty much anything you are shredding for the client.

There are more ways to present service orders. Just choose the level of detail that best suits your drivers, full detail, consolidated versions, or a spread sheet type form. Whatever your preference, you can choose accordingly.

Invoices have also been improved providing a direct association between service order number and invoice for cross check purposes.  There is also a new ‘one page’ invoice option for those who like to keep invoice detail to a minimum.

We are interfacing with more accounting software packages than ever before. Ask an ASI customer service member for more information regarding which application is best for you…

Information Management...
From Hard Copy to Media Vault to Digital Archiving

Paper has been around for what seems like forever, but the Information Management industry only began to rear its head around the mid-1900's. By the late 1900's, Information Management was in full bloom with companies like Iron Mountain & Pierce Leahy opening up records centers in the US and later worldwide. Today, you have companies like Archives One, BRM, Cintas, Iron Mountain & NOVA all doing the same.

When people talked about information management, hard copy immediately came to mind. Slowly, the industry included vault media management and today the focus is moving towards management of digital archives.

Corporate businesses, small and large, spend most of their days working on a PC creating emails, Word/Excel documents, Power Point presentations, images and much, much more. These documents make up what we call 'digital assets'. What happens to these digital assets once we are finished with them? Digital Archiving of this information is a growing trend, with over 80% of corporate information being created digitally. Legislations like Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), Gramm-Leich-Bliley (GLB), The Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA), and The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) are making it vital that these assets be managed properly and securely.

InfoKeeper Plus™, is Andrews Software, Inc.'s solution to archiving these digital assets, giving the end user the ability to fully manage their critical information via the web. InfoKeeper Plus™ includes all the great features and functionality of Infokeeper™, plus much more. It's the all-in-one solution, giving endusers the ability to manage their hard copy, media vault and digital asset information. Visit our website for more information:
